Handcrafted furniture is distinguishable from furniture made entirely with machinery. Typically, the selected timber or timbers are cut and machined to the current sizes. The hand crafting begins with refining the elements which are assembled to make the final piece or pieces of furniture. The pieces are then hand sanded and oiled to make the completed piece of furniture.
